3. Maggott (Marvel)

Well, this is a rather vomit-inducing example. Despite his disgusting power, Maggott is a heroic character who was once a member of the X-Men. And, despite his name, there are actually no maggots involved in his powerset. What Maggott actually possesses are a pair of giant, sentient slugs called Eany and Meany who periodically burst out of his stomach, eat any given substance and then scurry back inside him through his stomach, which somehow imbues him with superpowers. These powers include supercharging his physical size, strength, stamina and sturdiness while turning his skin blue and his eyes red. He also possesses the power of psychometry, which enables him to draw psychic imprints from his environment, replaying events in his mind's-eye which once took place or will soon take place in his general vicinity. The latter part is actually pretty cool, but the slug part? Ew.
