Deathstroke is an interesting example of a villain becoming a hero, as it shows that the man is incapable of doing things in halves – forming and training the superhero team Defiance upon deciding to become a good guy himself.

This is most interesting as half of Defiance are the ex-members of Teen Titans – both Kid Flash and Power Girl – which makes the whole thing feel even stranger, given the man has been the longtime enemy of said superhero group, both in comics and television.

While Deathstroke’s conversion back to villainry was high-key inevitable, it arguably makes his time as a fully fledged superhero all the more interesting.
