10 Comic Heroes Who Humiliated Their Rival

9. The Punisher Vs Wolverine

Thanos Deadpool
Marvel Comics

Granted, the Punisher is no hero, strictly speaking, but this is his comic, so we play by his rules.

Like Batman, Punisher has a long and violent history of not getting along well with others. Frank was particularly antisocial during his time under Garth Ennis's guidance in the Marvel Knights series. Not long after making a mockery of the naive Daredevil and poor Spider-Man, Frank ran into Wolverine during a battle with underground mobsters.

What followed was one of comics' most brutal, mean-spirited fights, with Frank blasting off Logan's face, shooting him in the balls at point-blank range and then running the old canucklehead over with a steamroller.

His rematch in A Confederacy of Dunces (featuring Daredevil, Spider-Man and the Hulk) didn't go much better either... leaving Logan practically liquidized in a bathtub.
