10 Comic Plot Twists That Were Hiding In Plain Sight

Injustice's initial big twist is somehow both written in the stars and almost impossible to realise, despite all the hints we're repeatedly given when Superman fights Doomsday to try and protect Lois, who he had just found after she was kidnapped by the Joker.

Firstly, all the panels before this one have Lois in exactly the position Doomsday is when Superman succumbs to the chemicals. Secondly, it's pretty clear in all the proceeding panels that, when Doomsday arrives, Lois completely disappears.

All this said, it's entirely too easy to not pick up on any of the readily apparent signs that something is amiss until it's far too late - and you find yourself in the same boat of the Man of Steel himself, wondering how you didn't spot any of it in the first place.
