10 Comic Secrets Hiding In Plain Sight

The best thing about comic fans is that if you give them even a hint about something, they will research it with a power so potent it must have been bestowed by some dark and nerdy god.

But when New Mutants revealed a fun demon language - and also translated it once or twice for reader - they didn't seem to realise that fans would naturally see if they could figure it out.

And, maybe a little surprisingly, they did. As it turned out, each of the symbols in this made up language directly translated to a letter of the alphabet, meaning you could - after creating a cipher, as some brave readers did - translate everything said in that dialect in the comic.

So, what surprises awaited? Well, some really, really weird ones. Since it appears nobody expected the rest of the dialogue to get translated, they wrote a ton of plain wild stuff: for example, having a charging character scream "pork chop!" because... why not, we guess.

Highlight also include a ton of swearing and two characters discussing weird looking genitals. It's a real hidden gem, in short.
