In Batman Incorporated #2, Batman and Catwoman were going up against an immortal being called Lord Death Man, who could come back from the dead every time he was killed. Such an enemy is difficult to deal with, so Batman ends up chucking him off a building, which incapacitated him for a little bit.

Down on the ground, he and Catwoman stuffed him into a small, but sturdy safe. This was the kind of space that required his legs to be folded in with his arms crossed over his head meaning, it was not, in any way, comfortable.

Once he was locked inside, the real torture began when the safe was launched into orbit. After all, they couldn't permanently deal with him, so why not shoot him into space? They did that, and while it seems as if Lord Death Man won't be a problem for anyone ever again, his punishment continued.

He remained trapped in the safe careening through space, but he was eventually recovered by Ra's Al Ghul. Instead of letting him go, he kept him confined and used his body as a continuous source of so-called "Lazarus Blood," which works much like the Lazarus Pits that kept him alive for an unnaturally long period of time.
