Who doesn't love a good team-up?
To stop RaŹ¼s al Ghul's plan of global annihilation, Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman must join forces in order to save the world.
The most surefire way to bring out the best in a character is to pair them up with other characters who both compliment and contrast them. Take The Avengers for example. While Iron Man is great on his own, he shines the brightest when he has to play nice with the other heroes. The same thing could be said of Superman and the rest of the Trinity.
A huge part of what makes this such an endearing Superman story is watching him act as a sort of big brother type to Batman and Wonder Woman. Being the guy that he is, Batman is a total !*$%, and, being the woman she is, Diana is not taking any of it. The spats between these two feel almost sibling-like in their unbridled spite, and Supes finds himself right in the middle of it having to act as the glue that keeps the team together.
You'll want to give this man a hug after seeing the crap he has to deal with from Tweedle-dee and Tweedle-dum.
