5. Planet Hulk - Send Your Friend Into Space To Protect The World?

Since Planet Hulk is one of the most action-packed storylines in Hulk history - and that's really saying something given the behemoth's usual destruction filled antics - it's easy to ignore the fascinating moral implications that come with it.

Because, while the Illuminati didn't exactly intend to send the Hulk to crash land on a hostile planet, their actual plan wasn't exactly entirely heroic. After Bruce had lost his temper and gone fully berserk in Las Vegas, the collection of ultimately well-meaning heroes thought to send him to a peaceful planet for the rest of his days.

Only issue is, at the point the team trick the Hulk into being sent on a brief "mission" in space, he's exiled himself deep into the wilderness, meaning that he wasn't really posing a threat to anyone aside from the occasional moose.

But you can see why they sent Bruce and his green co-pilot away from Earth give just how much of a threat he can pose - which is only proved more when Banner returns to Earth and beats ten bells out of everyone he thinks is responsible.

Most people turn to Civil War or Injustice when discussing complicated conflicts between heroes - but Planet Hulk presents an equally difficult decision.

The best part of all this? It's not even the worst thing Marvel's Illuminati has ever done...
