While superhero spin-offs featuring zombie apocalypses in them are now a dime a dozen, DCeased manages something that few others do, in that it's genuinely on par with many of the main universe series in terms of the quality of the art of writing. Crucially, however, it does so while being drenched in gore and countless dramatic moments, meaning that any person who finds comics exposition-heavy gets a healthy insight into all the action that makes comics so fun.
But the series also comes with its fair share of emotional moments, allowing you to legitimately connect with the characters at the same time.
