The great thing about every Avenger movie is seeing which hero from Marvel comics will be the newest addition to the roster and fight beside the other MCU favorites. A few seasoned veterans of this shared universe will be making the team but the one that stands out the most is the one that got an intergalactic page from a half-decimated Nick Fury.

Captain Marvel has officially entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe with her hit solo debut which showcased she is not to be underestimated, as the Kree empire will probably attest to.

She has been described by many as the most powerful being in the universe and is rumored to have an epic battle with the Mad Titan himself at some point during the Avengers's quest for vengeance.

The Captain Marvel film was heavily influenced by Kelly Sue DeConnick’s Captain Marvel run, and one of her arcs - Higher, Further, Faster, More - is a good introduction to anyone not familiar with the newest Avenger.

The story gives the reader everything they need to know about the MCU's newest heroine and is a great read for anyone wanting to brush up on their Carol Danvers knowledge before she goes all Super Saiyan on Thanos in Endgame.
