The mutant twins Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver have always had a tumultuous history in the mainstream Marvel Universe, but none of this compares to what they get up to in the Ultimate line. Loeb took the pairs relationship to the next level by making them incestuous lovers. This revelation shocked their fellow Avengers and fans alike, twisting their familial love into something vile.
Loeb certainly knows how to get readers talking, but was it really necessary to portray these classic superheroes in such an unsavory light? To make matters worse, one particular scene in the comics shows Wolverine secretly watching the pair get together. What a pervert!
