10 Dream Creative Teams To Reboot Batman

There have been a mighty number of Bat-books over the past few years, each of them providing a new and different take on the Dark Knight. One of the best and most interesting of these has been the White Knight incarnation from Sean Murphy.

This version wasn't exactly the traditional Batman, but it certainly proved that Murphy would be a fantastic choice to write a prime universe Gotham title.

Murphy's art in White Knight fits the tone and atmosphere as much as his writing, his inks and colours evoking the likes of the Arkham series and Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy.

Unfortunately, it's unlikely that a single creator would ever helm such a flagship ongoing book, so a writer or an artist would probably have to be paired with Murphy. In the case that he were to pen the series then perhaps someone like Lee Weeks would be a good choice for art duties, and if Murphy were to draw it then Brendan Fletcher could write.
