10 Dumbest Batman Moments You Won't Believe

3. Bladder Spasm - Batman: The Widening Gyre #6

Batman Wet Pants
DC Comics

The final issue of The Widening Gyre miniseries is a special kind of dumb.

Batman proposes to his current beau St. Cloud. When they tell the news to Alfred (Batman's stand in father figure who raised him) she keeps it classy by giving way too many details about the first time they banged. Because Alfred surely wants to know how many times Batman's new fiancée orgasmed (eleven times, for the record).

When St. Cloud says the reason she is marrying Batman is because of the great sex, you might think she's joking. But the comic immediately shows what a horrible personality Batman has. In a fit of paranoia, he becomes convinced his fiancée is a robot. Instead of just finding a stray hair to test if she's human, he nearly causes a car collision and drags her out of the back seat by her hair, then dramatically tears out a fistful of it.

Later we get the scene that this comic is best remembered for: Batman tells a story to Baphomet about his first year as Batman. During his "first big pyro-gag" the explosion caused him to have a "bladder spasm." We then get two more panels of piss jokes to really rub in the fact that the Dark Knight wet himself, and not just during any old event either, but actually during the most famous sequence in Batman Year One.

West loves pop culture, movies, comics and TV-shows just as much as you do. Probably. Since you're reading this. Also, she has a cat. He's pretty awesome.
