A viral outbreak causes millions to succumb to various forms of aggressive cancer, leaving the world's best scientists at a loss. A leading cancer researcher experiences this disaster first hand as his wife passes away and his 9 year old daughter contracts the same disease. In his efforts to find answers, he gets caught in the midst of a global conspiracy that could trigger World War 3.

Eisner Award Winner Colleen Doran has been brought in for the art on this book and the previews look beautiful. Having worked on parts of Neil Gaiman's The Sandman and illustrated the Amazing Fantastic Incredible Stan Lee autobiography, there's no doubt The Clock is in good hands.

The Clock debuts 8th January.
