The Civil War comic manages to still be one of the most engaging and fresh feeling comics of the decent decades. This is first and foremost because it has a storyline that includes all your most beloved heroes turning on one another, but also because it contains some simply iconic fights and moments.

Perhaps the most famous of these is the panel that shows a dramatic clash between Iron Man and Captain America; partially because they're the figureheads of the two warring sides, and partially because Cap using his shield to deflect Iron Man's attack just looks cool.

So much so that, when the Marvel Cinematic Universe made the Civil War film, they were almost destined to include this moment, and all of its baddasery.

And, safe to say, they managed it. Seeing the sparks fly off of Captain America's shield makes it feel as though you're watching that panel be animated in HD.

Regardless of what side you found yourself on, this is one moment that likely brought you immense joy to see in the film.

I like my comics like I like my coffee - in huge, unquestionably unhealthy doses.
