10 Goofiest Moments In The Early Days Of Spider-Man

4. Brother Power, Sister Sun And Razorback

The saga that spanned Spectacular Spider-Man issues #12-15 introduced not one, not two, but three of the goofiest villains in comic book history. Not just Spidey history €“ because as this list proves, there's plenty of them €“ but all comics. This is, after all, the story that begins with Peter Parker being attacked by Brother Power and Sister Sun. This is a brother-and-sister team who fire powerful energy beams out of their chests, but only when they're holding hands. Which is a little weird in grown siblings, even if it is the source of their villainous superpowers. Anyway, since Peter's playing squash with Flash Thompson he can't suit up, meaning someone else has to subdue this pair. Enter: Razorback! A seventies hero who never escaped the decade, and with good reason. Because he was a stereotypical redneck with a cheesy Southern drawl who wore a warthog's head complete with tusks and an electrified mane. He fights Spidey too, then tries to get him and Flash to join the same cult as Brother Power and Sister Sun. Comics!
