10 Greatest Batman Comics Of The 21st Century

2. Hush

Batman Court Of Owls
DC Comics

Hush is one of the most defining Batman comics to ever come out. The arc acts as a mystery that takes an entire year to unfold and incorporates everything that makes Batman comics great.

Almost every issue focuses on a different villain as the story goes on, and the majority of Batman's closest allies also come to his aid throughout the the story. It also has one of the most iconic fights between Batman and Superman. On top of all of that, it also introduces a new villain to Batman's rogues gallery and brings back a character missing from the pages of Batman for decades.

Written by Jeph Loeb with art by Jim Lee, this is some of the best work these comic book titans have ever put out. Jim Lee especially delivers pencils that raised the bar for all other working artists of the time.

Even though the ending has been divisively retconned since it came out, Hush still gives you everything you could ever want from a Batman story.
