10 Greatest Comic Book Heroes Who Despise Humans

8. Rorschach

DC Comics/Lee Bermejo

While Rorschach may be the loosest definition of a comic book "hero", he nonetheless is one of the few characters in comic history to hold a true and unshakable disdain for humanity.

Both in his actions and in his personal thoughts inside his journals, Rorschach has shown that he believes without a doubt that the world is truly ugly, and those who are actually good people are really just prey for the world to mercilessly devour.

His outlook on humanity is that of pure hatred, with perhaps children being his only exception. He believes everyone is willing to stand by and ignore the filth on the street, and that everyone is constantly complaining about things he views to be meaningless and unimportant.

This, mixed with his unshakable delusions of standing firm in the face of even Armageddon, has made him one of pop culture's most engaging characters, but also one that could care less what the scum of the world, in his eyes, think of him.

Rorschach is also incredibly brutal, he kills anyone he thinks is evil without a second thought, no justice system, or jails, no one to judge the wicked except him.
