This one-shot sees Green Lantern Kyle Rayner and Norrin Radd, the Silver Surfer and former Herald of Galactus, meeting when villains Parallax and Thanos team up in an attempt to destroy the universe by stealing power from the two heroes. Just a regular Tuesday, really. Cyborg Superman also makes a brief appearance at the beginning, just in case it wasn't weird enough for you already. After Rayner realises he's been tricked by Thanos into aiding his scheme, he unites with the Surfer and the Green Lantern uses his ring to suck the power from both of the antagonists and siphon it into Radd, who becomes a cosmic battery and creates a portal through which to banish both Thanos and Parallax. This comic is a nice change of pace from most Marvel/DC crossovers in that it doesn't feature all that much antagonism between Rayner and Radd, and the cosmic setting makes a welcome difference from the usual Earth-set stories.
