2. Blue Beetle & Booster Gold
Booster Gold and Blue Beetle's partnership started in Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis' Justice League International run, among an oddly B-List roster of the Justice League.
Commonly known as the 'Bwahaha' era of the League, the series was known for trying to bring humour into the team, with Booster and Beetle usually partnering up for some ill-conceived money-making scheme. They've been super repo-men, started a casino on the island of 'Kooey Kooey Kooey' (using Justice League funds), and Booster even tried his hand at getting a fellow Leaguer to appear in a sexy calendar shoot.
Generally they're known for being slightly irresponsible (admittedly Booster more than Beetle), and for not always taking their League responsibilities seriously, more interested in cracking jokes than skulls. But they're the best of friends, which is what makes their relationship so endearing.
