2. The Spectre
Of course he was gonna be on this list. Obviously. The only one more obvious than the Spectre is - well, our last entry, but we'll get to that in just a bit. In the meantime, let's talk for a bit about The Spectre, and why getting on his bad side is a TERRIBLE idea.
For one thing, you can't really avoid getting on his bad side. If you do anything heinous, despicable, or just plain wrong, he'll come after you eventually. Especially if you get away with it at first.
The reason why this guy is terrifying? He is the literal, actual wrath of god made manifest. Sure, he needs a host to possess in order to interact with this plain, but that's about it in terms of limitations.
If the Spectre wants you dead, there's basically nothing you can do about it. Even the most powerful heroes and villains in the DC universe fear this guy. Because yeah, wrath of God, not much you can do against that.
