7. Hellcat And She-Hulk

Batman Superman
Marvel Comics

Patsy Walker was introduced as Hellcat in The Avengers #144 (1976). She has an elaborate history that involved her marrying the son of Satan. Later she committed suicide due to magical insanity and the will of Deathurge.

She was sent to Hell where she fought as a gladiator. Luckily, Hawkeye was tricked into bringing her spirit back to Earth thinking she was his dead wife. Then, she used her new Hell powers to fight occult criminals. She-Hulk is the cousin of Bruce Banner, and gained limited Hulk powers after a blood transfusion from him. Unlike her cousin she maintains her intelligence and sense of self when she Hulks-out.

She-Hulk and Hellcat first met in Savage She-Hulk in the eighties, in Hulk (2008) they teamed-up as part of the Lady Liberators, but it wasn't until She-Hulk (2014) that things got serious. The two went out together, Hellcat got completely smashed, and they drunkenly fought some crime.

She-Hulk, who worked as lawyer, invited the impulsive Hellcat to be her private investigator. Perhaps their most memorable case involved an elderly Captain America as their client with Daredevil as the opposing council.

The fun dynamic between Hellcat and She-Hulk later influenced the series Patsy Walker aka Hellcat (2015) to anchor the stories around their friendship. Now, with the two officially best friends, it's not surprising Hulk (2016-2018) saw them reunited.

West loves pop culture, movies, comics and TV-shows just as much as you do. Probably. Since you're reading this. Also, she has a cat. He's pretty awesome.
