10 Important Lessons Comic Book Superheroes Taught Us

3. Wonder Woman And Badassery

Superman John Byrne

You can't have a list about about lessons taught by superheroes without including the mighty Amazonian warrior that is Wonder Woman. That'd just be plain wrong.

In Matt Wagner's Trinity Wonder Woman teams up with Superman and Batman to face off against Ra's al Ghul and his army. When it comes to conflicts both within her team-up and against their shared enemy, she makes it very clear that she won't take any crap from anyone.

Batman makes a crack at her outfit? She gives him a crack right back. Ra's al Ghul threatens to sexually assault her? She breaks his right-hand man's jaw and puts an unholy fear in the deviant immortal. Gets kissed without her consent? She nearly knocks the guy's head off. Wonder Woman can and will dish out more than she takes. Her bad side is not a place anyone wants to be.

Wonder Woman isn't afraid to stand up for herself and knows her worth. She'll be buried dead in the ground before she accepts any treatment less than what she deserves.

Final summation? Be like Wonder Woman, be a badass.
