10 Incredibly Useful Superpowers Heroes Forgot They Had
5. Magneto Can Put People To Sleep
Whether you regard him as a hero or a villain, Magneto has that rare, attention-grabbing habit of forever viewing himself as the hero of his own story. When he is indeed a good guy, that works brilliantly... and when he's in one of his more evil moods, that works even better.
Regardless of which side of the fence he's sitting on at any one time, there's always a calculated calm to the Master of Magnetism, and he's often one of those rare characters who tends to regularly use all of the abilities at his fingertips. That is, of course, apart from his ability to instantly put people in a state of sleep.
In the science-y logic of the funny books, Magneto's powers mean that he's able to manipulate the mineral composition of somebody's blood stream to the point that he's able to make them take a nap. Considering some of the truly despicable and genocidal things Erik Lehnsherr has done over the decades, putting somebody to sleep is pretty much as friendly as Magneto gets.
Sadly, this is a particular power that this fascinating character has seldom used in recent years.
