10 Insane Alternate Versions Of Black Panther You Won't Believe Exist

4. Symbiote Black Panther

Symbiote Black Panther
Marvel Comics

The symbiote, being one of Marvel's most marketable ideas, has latched itself onto multiple Marvel heroes over the years, but one of the most interesting cases of this was when it attached itself to Black Panther. Namely because it technically DIDN'T.

On Earth-TRN650, there was a track star named Ngozi, who had a promising career in track running ahead of her until she decided to chase a grasshopper to add it to her bug collection. And instead she found a symbiote, which then attached itself to her. Just as she starts wondering what the hell to do with herself now that she has an alien parasite thing grafted onto her, she learns that the Rhino has murdered her universe's Black Panther.

The heroine that had always been inside of Ngozi awakens, and she challenges the Rhino to combat, bringing the big bastard down with the help of the symbiote and saving the people of Lagos. The Dora Milaje, seeing the young woman's bravery and heroism, recruit her into their ranks, appointing her as the heir to the mantle of Black Panther.
