10 Insane Alternate Versions Of Captain America You Won't Believe Exist

2. Captain Colonies

Ever wondered what would've become of Captain America, had the nation in question never come into being? The answer (perhaps unsurprisingly), is Captain Colonies, a member of the Captain Britain Corps who hails from Earth-4103.

Called Stephen Rogers, this version of the Captain looks to be an amalgamation of Brian Braddock (Captain Britain) and Steve Rogers (Captain America). He features sporadically in the comics, having first appeared in 1991's Excalibur #44, but so far hasn't been the focus of any major story after the fact.

Whether or not that's an issue in itself is up to each reader's discretion, but still, there's no denying how strange a premise it actually is, and how in one version of the Marvel Universe, the Founding Fathers never went on to found anything.
