Now he can finally, properly be with Death - who he's had a centuries-long romance with - the pair become a sort of power couple of the great beyond, which is probably the happiest possible ending that Wade could truly get.

Although it's also worth saying that plenty of the other alternate universe endings are equally wonderful - from the edgy one that mocks villains like the Batman Who Laughs, to the one where he and Iceman fly into the sunset as lovers.
