10 Insane Alternate Versions Of Deadpool You Won’t Believe Exist

With the moniker of Deadpool being synonymous with Wade Wilson throughout films, games, and comics, it's always surreal to see another person take up that mantle - even in an alternate universe.

However, this is especially strange when it comes to the case of Jamie Maddrox, who you may better recognise as the Multiple Man. In the comic series of the same name, one of Jamie's various selves becomes a cruel tyrant in the future, forcing some of his other selves to band together to stop him.

Among these misfits are Maddrox versions of the Hulk, Cable, Cloak, and - of course - Deadpool. For reasons we mere mortals may never grasp, the Deadpool version of Jamie opts to mostly not speak, possibly to avoid being too similar to his namesake of the Merc With a Mouth.

Tragically, it's unlikely we'll ever see this unusual figure again, as this series ends with these doppelgängers being wiped out in order to prevent the dystopian future they lived in from ever taking place.
