As far as weird superheroes go, very few could justifiably be called gross. But it's difficult to not consider Maggot - a man whose powers revolve around the fact his digestive system can turn into two maggots who can eat anything - to be more than a little on the gross side, in as far as most superheroes don't involve digestive juices.

Grosser yet, when Maggot's slugs have finished their feeding, they retreat back home, meaning they go back inside the man's empty stomach cavity.

While Maggot gets crazy superpowers while the bugs are full and inside him, it's still maybe not worth having two enormous maggots burst out of you every time they get peckish.

In terms of sheer uniqueness, Maggot is a superhero that goes above and beyond in terms of an interesting mutation that results in some fun abilities that don't feel overpowered. But it's more than likely that we've seen very little of him because, as interesting as his powers are, they're equally stomach-turning.
