Aside from having the name of an old god and the appearance of someone's first attempt at a furry cosplay, Hepzibah is an incredibly interesting hero.

Hepzibah is a Mephitisisoid - who are essentially humanised alien skunks - and as such possesses pheromone powers, because of course an alien skunk has scent powers.

She's also a character with a surprisingly detailed background for her relatively minor status, having broken out of prison with Corsair - known better as Cyclops' dad - and eventually falling in love with him. The pair routinely pair up with the X-Men - likely making for the weirdest reunions between Cyclops and his dad ever - although Hepzibah did also permanently live with the mutant superheroes for a period of time when Corsair was missing.

All in all, Hepzibah makes for a pretty interesting background character, and a similarly interesting step-mother for Scott Summers.
