Late to the zombie superhero party but no less disturbing, the DC Universe gets its own 'Marvel Zombies' moment in the miniseries DCeased.

Infected with a technologically spread virus by Darkseid himself, Cyborg becomes patient zero in a zombie epidemic that threatens the entirety of this alternate DC Universe.

Who will survive, and what will be left of them? While we're usually relying on the ever-prepared Batman to save the day, the Dark Knight is actually one of the first to fall, turned at the hands of a rabid Robin-gone-wrong. From there, the situation only gets so much worse, with hero after hero becoming infected and turning against hero, villain and civilian bystander alike.

Not even Superman is safe from this one; succumbing to the virus in a last-ditch race against the Flash, before himself becoming the mightiest zombie any world has ever known.
