10 Least Threatening Comic Book Supervillains

4. Egghead

Egghead Batman
DC Comics

Many criminal masterminds fixate on a specific theme and incorporate it into their crimes. Poison Ivy uses plants. Mister Freeze uses ice. Scarecrow uses Fear Gas.

But for Egghead, it was all about the eggs. Like Harley Quinn, this bulbous-headed menace didn't originate from the comics. He debuted in the 1966 TV series, Batman, where he was portrayed by the legendary actor, Vincent Price.

Now, don't let his puns and silly appearance fool you. This conically-cranium crook is a genius. He's so smart, he deduced Batman's secret identity on the show.

There is no mistake that Egghead could be a genuine threat to the Caped Crusader... if it wasn't for his obsession with eggs. Instead of shooting Batman or revealing his identity to the public, the Hatchling of Hate instead battles him with Laughing Gas Eggs, Mind Control Eggs, Radar Eggs, Sneezing Eggs, and Tear Gas Eggs. (If you're wondering how Egghead makes Tear Gas Eggs, he fed his chickens nothing but onions until their laid eggs made anyone in their vicinity cry.)

If he put as much effort in conventional crimes as he does with eggs, he could probably take over the world.
