Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin, or "Silver Fang: Meteor Gin" in English, is a manga series written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Takahashi. The series was published between 1983 and 1987 via Weekly Shōnen Jump for a total of 1,001 chapters and 135 volumes consisting of five connected series.

The original series, Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, was followed by Ginga Legend Weed, which ran for 60 volumes on top of the previous 18. That series was followed by Ginga Legend Weed: Orion, which ended with 30 volumes, while its sequel, Ginga: The Last Wars ended with 22. The fourth sequel, Ginga Legend: Noah, has been collected into five volumes.

The series is centered around an Akita Inu pup named Gin ("Silver" in English). He left his master, a child named Daisuke, to join a pack of wild dogs, which is comprised of the strongest pups from all over Japan. Together, they fought a deranged bear named Akakabuto.

When the story begins, it's told from the point of view of humans, but after a short while, it switches to the dog's perspective. The series has been adapted into a 21-episode anime, which has been translated into numerous languages, including Korean, Thai, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Hungarian, Danish, and English.
