10 Marvel Characters Most Likely To Be Killed Off In Civil War II
8. Old Man Logan
With the first issue of Old Man Logan revealing that this Wolverine is embarking on a mission to kill the men who ruined his life in the future by manipulating him into killing the X-Men (and, you know, taking over the world), it's become obvious that it's a quest which probably isn't going to go too well for him. After all, Marvel mainstays like the Red Skull, Mysterio, and The Hulk are unlikely to die in a title such as this one. As a result, his mission feels like one which is destined to result in failure, and there's only so long Marvel can tell that type of story. Having him die in the pages of Civil War II would be a cruel end to his mission, but one which would hopefully lead to the return of the Wolverine Marvel killed off not too long ago. Old Man Logan simply shouldn't be part of the Marvel Universe, and every story told with him does a disservice to the original story. Whether he's killed by someone who has a vested interest in ensuring his future comes to pass or in a battle where he redeems himself by making a last stand to save his fellow heroes, he needs to go.
