Marvel has recently been teasing the return of Otto Octavius (a.k.a. Doctor Octopus, a.k.a Superior Spider-Man) in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man and through a series of mysterious teasers, and it's likely that Peter Parker could come under fire in Civil War II as a result. If Otto is again plotting to take over Peter's life, what if that Inhuman sees some of the terrible things the Superior Spider-Man will do when he succeeds and, without realising that it's the villain in control, another hero decides to take the wall-crawler out before he gets chance? It probably wouldn't be a permanent death, but could work well in the context of this story. After all, the last Civil War story saw Spider-Man unmask to the world and that status quo only lasted for a short time, so something as big as this happening feels like a very real possibility. Such a move would also no doubt play a big role in advancing what Dan Slott is doing with Amazing or could be used as a way of making the popular Miles Morales the Marvel Universe's only Spider-Man for a time as many fans do want that...
