10 Marvel Characters Who Became Ghost Rider

8. Robbie Reyes

Cosmic Ghost Rider Frank Castle
Marvel

The fifth person to take up the mantle/curse of the Ghost Rider was Roberto "Robbie" Reyes. He first appeared in All-New Ghost Rider #1 in 2014 and was featured on the television series, Marvel: Agents of SHIELD by Gabriel Luna.

Robbie is different from the other Ghost Riders on this list because he isn't possessed by the Spirit of Vengeance. When he was just a teenager, Robbie entered a street race to try and raise some easy cash so he could take himself and his disabled brother from the dangerous neighborhood they lived in.

Unfortunately, he was gunned down and killed by thugs looking to get something from his trunk but was revived by the spirit of a man named Eli Morrow. The ghost of Morrow empowered Robbie much like the Spirit of Vengeance, even enabling him to emblazon his car like Ghost Rider's motorcycle.

When it turned out Morrow was not only the ghost of a serial killer but the one responsible for his brother's disability, things got a bit nasty. Johnny Blaze visits and sets things right so that Robbie agrees to continue hosting Morrow so long as they use the power against people with evil souls.
