5. Jeff The Land Shark
It's typical of Deadpool to find an unusual pet sidekick, but who are we to argue with the new King of the Monsters?
The West Coast is under attack by a hoard of Land Sharks and it's up to the West Coast Avengers to stop them. Thanks to Kate Bishop's quick thinking, the team managed to round them back into the ocean and saved California from being fish food. Somehow, while she was supposed to be helping to fight M.O.D.O.K and a pack of Hellfire Wolves, Gwenpool stumbled upon (and quickly adopted) a baby Land Shark and so the West Coast Avengers had a new team-mate.
Jeff briefly spent time with the equally foul-mouthed hero, Elsa Bloodstone but with Gwenpool being Gwen Poole, he was quickly stolen back to live with her on 'Gwenpool Island'. That is, until she sensed her impending cancellation and handed him off to Deadpool in order to keep Jeff safe.
These days, Jeff sits King Deadpool at the round-ish table as Jeffrey, the First of His Name of the Former Staten Island. He may not be big, he may not do much more than nibble at your ankles, but he's trying his best one confused "mrrr" at a time.
