With a name like Devil Dinosaur, you would expect a fire breathing, people eating beast that means certain death for whoever faces it. Now, he certainly looks the part, but Moon Girl's trusty partner is a more of a 'Clifford the Big Red Dog' situation.

Devil made his way over to Earth-616 quite by accident, as Lunella Lafayette's device for discovering Kree technology was accidentally activated by her gym teacher. With Lunella's great intellectual ability, she found a way to direct him out of the city and communicate with him. Unfortunately, they caught the attention of the Hulk (Amadeus Cho), who tried to arrest Devil Dinosaur for damage to a school. The two fought as Devil protected Lunella, though they ended up destroying far more property in the process. Devil was eventually taken in, leading the newly appointed Moon Girl to plot his rescue.

Upon seeing Lunella come to his rescue, Devil was delighted and much like a happy pup, started licking her face through his cage. However, also like a big happy dog, he forgot how large he was and pushed her, making Moon Girl drop her tablet and alerting the guards.

The pair escaped their captors and they've been best friends ever since.
