8. Demon Killing Batman
Set in a Gotham that has been overrun by the dark lords of hell for centuries, Bruce is trained by his parents to exorcise the city of the demons. There are several things that mark this version of Batman out as being fairly nutty. First of all, Batman has a side kick named Cal who is a skeleton. Also, instead of his parents being killed by Joe Chill, they are of course murdered by a werewolf. At this point Bruce finds out that he was secretly being trained by his parents and was meant to become the Batman all along. But why a bat? Because one night while Thomas Wayne was in his study, a rather sizeable Bat crashes through the window and flies towards the room where a baby version of Bruce is in his cot. Thomas arrives just in time to see the bat flying above the cot and it says, "I am the bat!" and then Bruce, who let me remind you again is a baby, says, "And I am the man." I didn't make that up. Honestly, I don't think I could.
