10 More Insane Versions Of Batman You Won't Believe Exist

7. Tyrant Batman

rsz_batman_tyrant_001 This story goes to show that while Batman is one of the most loved and respected heroes of all time, it probably would be best to keep him as a supporting character of Justice, instead of in charge of it. Set in a post WWIII world, Bruce has been swayed by the influence of Jonathan Crane and has raised himself up to a Big Brother type status. He hates crime as much as ever but with all that power, he now has the means to eradicate it. It is just a shame that he intends to achieve that by controlling his population. With the help of Crane, he plans to use the water works to pump tranquillisers into the populace. Not cool Tyrant Batman. But don't worry! A group of villains set up by Anarky expose Crane to Batman, who admits to the city that he may not have always acted in their interests. The people then respond to this ernest apology by burning Bruce alive and leaving the bad guys as the heroes. Rejoice!
