10 More Most Disgusting Comic Book Deaths

1. The Ripper Murders - From Hell

Hulk Kills Iron Man
Knockabout Comics / Eddie Campbell

As famous as he is, what many of Alan Moore's fans have always failed to realize about his work is that he NEVER glorifies violence.

There's no long holds on the guts and blood flying in an Alan Moore book, at least no more than is needed. And as a result, his work is ten times more disgusting and horrific.

And nowhere is this better exemplified than in From Hell.

Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell's interpretation of the failed hunt for Jack the Ripper and who the killer truly was is one of the best adaptations of those infamous events in Whitechapel, at least from a horror standpoint, due to how unflinchingly realistic it is with its depiction of the murders.

We see, panel by panel, the killer methodically taking apart the women he murders. No more bloody than such procedures would actually be in real life, but that only makes it more disturbing, as you see the fine surgical detail applied in murdering these poor women and then mutilating their corpses.

Such a grounded depiction of such a horrific string of murders leaves you squirming in your seat, as the story forces you to watch every moment. What else could be at the top of this list?
