3. Superman's Identity Is Exposed - Superman #44 (2015)
After the Hordr_Root organisation discovered Clark Kent's secret identity, they blackmailed Superman to carry out their wishes or they would publicly out him. Superman believed exposing his identity would risk the lives of his loved ones so he had no choice but to abide to Hordr_Root's wishes.
When Lois Lane realized that Superman could commit atrocities on Hordr_Root's behalf, she revealed his identity to the world. Despite the fact Lois had nothing but good intentions, this decision ruined Superman's life.
The Daily Planet fired him, his friends and co-workers turned against him, his credit cards were cancelled, and sixteen lawyers filed eight different class action lawsuits against him for Superman-related damages.
Now, you might think this isn't so bad. Superman has the Justice League. He can just spend his days with them and not waste any more time with his civilian identity, right?
But shortly after he was outed, Superman lost the ability to fly. Although he still had superstrength, he was far weaker than before and could easily be killed by mortal men. Lois did her best to make amends, but Superman said he couldn't even look at her after what she did.
