5. The Nexus Of All Realities
The Nexus of All Realities is located in the Florida Everglades. The Nexus is a doorway that provides access to every possible reality in existence, including those that exist between realities. There are other known gateways including The M’ Kraan Crystal and somewhere on the planet Makray.
It is unknown if this is a naturally occurring intersection point for all the realities. Dr. Ted Sallis and mutant sorceress Illyana Rasputin believe the Nexus was created when Sallis crashed his car in the swamp. Sallis’ blood was mixed with inter-dimensional mystical elements acquired through a “deal” with demon Belasco and the SO-2 serum, a Super Soldier derivative. The serum and the magic worked together to turn Sallis into the swamp monster The Man-Thing. The monster is the Nexus’ guardian.
