6. Hal Jordan Punched Him In Front Of The Justice League
As Green Lantern, Hal Jordan was considered one of the greatest heroes in existence. But after his home city was destroyed, he went crazy and killed the rest of the Green Lantern Corps.
After he absorbed the power of the Green Lantern Central Battery, he tried to restart the universe to bring his home back. In the resulting epic battle with the Justice League, Hal was defeated.
When the sun was about to be destroyed years later, Hal's spirit reignited the star, saving the entire solar system. Although the heroes of Earth believed Hal had redeemed himself, Batman refused to forgive him.
It was eventually revealed that the real reason Hal turned evil was because he was corrupted by a fear-mongering parasite called Parallax. Once the Green Lantern's creators, The Guardians of the Universe, learned this, they brought Hal back to life and exonerated him from all his transgressions.
However, Batman STILL refused to forgive Hal, believing this explanation was some sort of scam. When Batman confronted him, Hal socked him in the jaw, knocking him to the ground in front of his teammates. After being in denial for years, Batman finally admitted he was wrong about his old friend.
