10 Most Heroic Things Harley Quinn Has Ever Done

8. Broke Out Of Hell - Harley Quinn #21

When it comes to heroic acts, even by otherwise pretty morally grey characters, screwing over Hell in any way shape or form immediately falls under the "good deed" category. It's like punching Nazis, it's one of the few objectively good and positive acts you can commit regardless of who you are.

So obviously Harley Quinn had to get in on that action.

In volume 1, #21 of Karl Kesel's run on the series, Harley actually finds herself trapped in the Christian afterlife by the demon Etrigan, alongside all the henchmen she had spent the last issues murdering a particularly incensed SWAT team. Harley proceeds to break out of hell the only way that Harley Quinn could do so: annoy Etrigan into submission.

Harley, along with some of her old buddies, proceeds to be so disruptive and annoying to the forces of hell, and particularly her killer Highwater, that eventually Etrigan relents and lets her return to the surface world, because having her in hell took so much more effort than that which was used to put her there to begin with.

Only with Harley Quinn, ladies and gentlemen.
