10 Most Heroic Things Lex Luthor Has Ever Done

Superman: Last Son is definitely one of the more underrated Superman tales, a story that tugs at your heart strings in a way most people scoff at the idea of a Superman comic being able to achieve.

In this story, Superman and Lois adopt a young boy as their son, who of course turns out to actually be the son of General Zod who uses him to come to Earth to take over by throwing Superman into the Phantom Zone. In situations like this, the only hope is, of course, Lex Luthor! Because I guess the other heroes were out that weekend. No one interrupts Batman when he's in vacay mode.

Anyway, Lex Luthor gathers a small team of other supervillains and fights back against Zod, even convincing Superman to cooperate with him when he eventually returns to Earth.

Of course, this moment is so far down the list because obviously Lex had some kind of evil scheme brewing, but the fact that he held the line against Zod when there's literally a laundry list of other people to step up in his place speaks volumes.
