10 Most Inappropriate Supergirl Storylines

As mentioned before, the Silver Age saw different characters behave in the most peculiar manner possible and everyone's favourite Kryptonian was not exempt from this. Silver Age Superman was far from the paragon of justice we know him as, and in most instances came off as unlikable and judgemental.

This can be seen in his treatment of Kara shortly after she landed on Earth. One would expect the older, more adjusted to Earth Superman to guide his newly arrived cousin and help her get accustomed to her new planet's customs.

Unfortunately for Kara, the Silver Age version of her cousin was more interested in dumping her in Midvale Orphanage shortly after her arrival. He did this so that she would have a place to lay low until she could fully master her powers.

It does not take a sociologist to notice that this is extremely selfish (and ironic) thinking on Clark's part, as well as reckless due to the fact that he left Kara essentially unsupervised in a particularly sensitive time in her life. The fact that the duo remained close till Crisis on Infinite Earths is confusing to say the least.
