After a one night stand in the pages of Brian Michael Bendis' Alias, the relationship between Luke Cage and Jessica Jones got off to a rocky start. A few more encounters occur between the two and Jones eventually reveals that the night they spent together has resulted in her being pregnant. The news is well received and they enter a committed relationship. The heroes fight off an attack from Green Goblin, Jones gives birth to their daughter Danielle (named after Cage's best friend Danny Rand AKA Iron Fist) and they are married in
