Now, in the comics, when Venom attacked Wolverine in a bar, it did not work out well for him, with Wolverine hilariously deconstructing his entire character and making the monster feel inadequate.

In the underrated 2005 Ultimate Spider-Man video game, on the other hand, things turned out a little different.

At this point in the game, you're controlling Venom going on a rampage for reasons unimportant because Venom never needs a reason to go on a rampage. Nor does Wolverine ever need a reason to square up with someone coming to square up.

Seeing as how you're controlling Venom, no surprise that you end up coming out on top here. Sure, Wolverine puts up a hell of a fight, and the stiff combat and uncooperative camera certainly make it a struggle, but Venom finishes it off with a nice punch to the back of Wolverine's head, sending him into the floor.
