10 Most Powerful Characters Killed By Batman

Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths was originally planned to connect the DCAU's Justice League and Justice League Unlimited series and while that did not quite take shape, the spirit of those two shows can be felt in the 2010 animated feature. That is why it felt rather chilling to see Batman place the nihilistic Owlman in a situation that would lead to his demise.

The film's third act sees the Justice League confront the Crime Syndicate on their moon-base headquarters and after a spectacular fight, Batman follows Owlman to an alternate Earth to stop his omnicidal scheme.

Before, it was revealed that Owlman sought to destroy this particular Earth as its destruction would initiate a chain reaction that would destroy the very multiverse itself.

Bruce eventually gains the upper hand over his reprehensible match and straps him to the doomsday device Owlman created to realize his plan. He then teleports the villain to a desolate Earth and the weapon detonates, killing a fittingly-satisfied Owlman, who gladly remarks "It doesn't matter."
